1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how The Key 4 UK Cities Limited ("we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
This policy is provided in accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and UK data protection law. It reflects the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) finalised Guidance on the use of storage and access technologies (published 29 April 2026).
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners about how their site is used. We also use similar technologies such as pixels and local storage; references to "cookies" in this policy include those technologies.
Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (which remain until they expire or you delete them). They may be set by us ("first-party") or by a third party providing a service to us ("third-party").
3. How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- make our website function and keep it secure;
- remember your settings and preferences; and
- understand how visitors use the site so we can measure and improve performance.
Our public website pages do not set any cookies. The technologies described in this policy are limited to cookieless analytics and, where you sign in to our investor Data Room, local storage used to operate that service.
We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling or selling your data to third parties.
4. The cookies we use
The categories of cookies used on this website are:
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the service to function and stay secure. Where you sign in to our investor Data Room, your browser stores your session so that you remain logged in. | Not required |
| Performance & analytics | Help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors interact with the site (via Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights), so we can measure and improve performance. These tools are cookieless: nothing is stored on, or read from, your device. | Not required |
| Functionality | Within the investor Data Room, remember choices such as your notification preferences. This storage is strictly necessary for the service you have requested. | Not required |
Cookie consent and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. The rules in PECR, including as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, apply where a website stores information on, or gains access to information stored in, your device. Our public website does neither: it sets no cookies and does not write to your browser's local or session storage. Our analytics tools are cookieless, reporting page views and performance timings without placing any identifier on your device. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, we do not need to ask for your consent, and this website shows no cookie banner. Where you sign in to our investor Data Room, your browser stores your session and related preferences so that the service can work; that storage is strictly necessary for a service you have explicitly requested. Any use of cookies for advertising, profiling or sharing data with third parties for advertising would require your consent, and we do not use cookies for those purposes. Separately, our analytics provider processes your IP address and browser type to count visits; this is explained in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party cookies
Some pages include content or services provided by third parties, including our hosting and analytics provider (Vercel Inc.), web fonts, images hosted by our development partners, and map tiles in the investor data room. Vercel's analytics does not set cookies. At the date of this policy, we are not aware of any third-party cookies being set through those services. Loading third-party content does mean your browser sends your IP address to those providers, and any cookies such providers set would be governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. If we introduce third-party content or services that use cookies or similar technologies, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before any non-essential cookies are used.
6. How to manage cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse or remove cookies; the "Help" function in your browser explains how. Useful links:
Managing your preferences. Because this website does not set cookies or store information on your device, there is nothing for you to accept, refuse or withdraw, and we do not show a cookie banner. You can still use your browser settings, above, to block or delete cookies generally. If we introduce cookies that require your consent in future, we will ask for it before they are set and give you a way to change your choice at any time.
Please note that if you block storage for this site in your browser, parts of the website, in particular the investor Data Room, may not function correctly.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes, or to reflect changes in the law or ICO guidance. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
8. Contact us
